Install XFCE remove KDE in Pisi Linux 1.2

This Introducing should help all User who will work with Pisi Linux but not with KDE, while KDE needs to much RAM.

After a fresh install from Pisi Linux could you doing the following Steps when you would remove KDE.

Step 1 Install XFCE

1.) Update the Repository with:

sudo pisi ur

2.) Install the XFCE Desktop with the command

sudo pisi it -c desktop.xfce

Look at the Screenshot for it:

You can see here it list the Packages and normally you must confirm it with y for yes
Note: The complete XFCE Packages are 136 with dependencies and not as in the Screenshot 69

It takes a Moment that all the Packages are installed.

Now can you logout and switch the session to xfce as you see on the next Image

 Step 2 Install Display-Manager

After you’re login to the XFCE Desktop you see it here:
you must install a other Display-Manager.
When you remove KDE pisi remove kdm too, and your Pisi Linux 1.2 has no Display-Manager, also do as the follow:
1.) Install lxdm as Display-Manager
sudo pisi it lxdm

Before you can go further with the installation, you must confirm the conflicts between kdm and lxdm.
You can do it, type for it y for yes
After lxdm is install, you must reboot your System, close the Terminal and reboot now
After the reboot witch your Session to from default to xfce so as you see on the Screenshot

Step 3 Remove KDE

1.) When you are back on the xfce Session you can now remove KDE, you can do it with:
sudo pisi rm -c desktop.kde

Note: This Step remove complete all include( Panda, Kaptan, ksplash and much more)
You can remove a bit of KDE when you type:
sudo pisi rm kde-workspace kde-runtime kde-baseapps

This Step is a little saver and you have after a reboot your Pisi Linux Splash screen it was not delete
( What you are doing now it is your turn )
After the removing from KDE make again a reboot
Now when you have reboot and you are back on lxdm you see when open at the bottom where you see Desktop that only xfce session is there.
Now login on the xfce Desktop and open a System Monitor you see you have a lot lower RAM as before
I wish you good luck for trying these Steps it happened nothing when you are following this Introducing
